Quinta Nere Maitia has 10 bungalows, with one or two bedrooms. Each is designed, through the use of different materials and furnishings, with the unique and distinctive details of a specific region of Portugal. All bungalows are also equipped with USB-C plugs and all have free access to high speed internet/fiber optic wifi.
The Sado River is one of the largest in Portugal, covering 30 nature reserves and 10 of the largest marshes in Europe. Surrounded by marshes, sandbanks and salt marshes, it is a favourite spot for a number of bird species, as well as three of Europe’s bottlenose dolphin colonies. The history of this region – which includes the main city of Setúbal – dates back to Roman times and since then it has had a strong connection to the Atlantic Ocean. The luminous green of the rice paddies, the vineyards and the columns populated by sheep and goats complete the region’s gastronomic identity.

The Sado, Douro and Beira Interior Bungalows accommodate 2 people, and have a small private patio at the entrance to each bungalow, perfect for enjoying breakfast, sipping a refreshing beverage, and feeling the peace of the sunrise and sunset.
